OUR STORY
The story of Saints Community Church is one about a love for a city. Saints Community Church launched in the fall of 2011 but our story began in 1997 when our lead pastor came to New Orleans on a missions trip and God broke his heart for New Orleans. In the years that followed, Pastor Wayne & Kristi lead many more trips to the city and brought over 4,000 people with them.
Then one day God asked them to leave their careers as traveling speakers and plant their family in New Orleans. With the help of other key churches from all over the country Saints Community Church was launched in Metairie, LA. In fact, many others packed up their lives, families, and belongings to be a part of what God was going to do.
Through an incredible series of events, Saints Community Church adopted First Assembly of God in Metairie and Journey Church in Belle Chasse, in January of 2020. It was obvious that God brought these churches together to multiply the impact in the Greater New Orleans area.
The story of Saints Community Church is a story of risk, faith, and great adventure. It is centered on Jesus and a call to be obedient to His word to help imperfect people know the perfect God. It’s a story that doesn’t settle for the status quo but believes that God cares about a city and about the individuals that call that city home. It’s a story that believes the best days are ahead. And it’s a story we want you to be a part of.

OUR VISION
Our vision is to reach the city of New Orleans by starting multiple locations.
EXPERIENCING GOD
We believe in the power of God for today. We would love to pray with you at the end of the service about anything going on. We practice open communion, so if you are a follower of Christ, you are welcome to receive.
EQUIPPING THE SAINTS
We want to equip our people to serve, both in the church and in the community. We believe in helping people find their exact spot to serve in the local church and beyond. Great purpose is found our lives as this happens.
EMPOWERING FAMILIES
We believe that strong families make a strong city. It is our goal to strengthen marriages and make sure that parents have the right tools to raise their kids for Christ. This is seen in the effectiveness of our kids and student ministry.
EMBRACING DIVERSITY
We don’t tolerate diversity, we embrace it! We believe that Jesus brings people of all races, ages, cultures, and religious backgrounds together. That also means that we have to be intentional in everything we do.
EXCELLING IN GENEROSITY
We know that generosity is God’s heart to help others. Through our Kingdom Builders initiative we fund global missions projects such as feeding villages in the third world, local community projects such as helping the homeless right here in our city, and future expansion projects that help us reach more people.
